[Opinions] Suzy
Suzy is my mother's name, or was rather when she was young. She uses Suzanne now. How would you feel about Suzy on a little girl right now? I am getting surprisingly good vibes from it.

I think its a blonde chicks name and no I dont mean to insult
I think Suzy is sweet and I prefer this spelling, though I would use it as a nickname rather than a full first name.
I think it's adorable although I'd spell it Susie and use it as a nick for Susanna. I do have a dd named Anna, however, she pronounces it with the AH sound which sounds nothing like the way I'd pronounce the Anna of Susanna. She'd be called Susie most of the time. It's just a thought. I'd probably never do it since the names are so similar.

It's ok as a nn, but I much prefer Suzanne or Susan.
It's dated. Suzy is more for older people, not kids. Back in grade school, if we wrote stories, the main character was "Susie." But Suzy is the same. It wouldnt last on a kid.
It has a cute, charming sound, but I see a couple potential problems with it:
It's very lightweight and generic. Like Janie or Sissy or Missy. The kind of name somebody would give a hypothetical character if they didn't care much about making it real.
This may not be an issue for a lot of families, but when I was growing up, Suzie was what little girls were taught to call their private parts. We outgrew it by the time we were preteens or so, but when we were little it was a handy euphemism. I feel the same way about Willie on a boy.

I like Suzy, and I think it's very cute. It's a lot better than Sue, which is too plain, IMO.
Hmm, it still seems a little dated, but I think it might be cute. I'd spell it Susie.
That's my sister's nn. Her full name is Susan. I'm for it.
