[Opinions] LÓRÁNT
I was just thinking how Roland rat ruined the name Roland for me when I saw this variant. I was wondering how it is pronounced?
Incidentally, how do you pronounce Roland? I like ROL-and or RAW-lin

You can hear the pronunciation of Loránd here - http://www.forvo.com/search/lorand/. Lóránt is the same, just with a t in the end.
My pronunciation of Roland depends on the language, but in English I’d use RO-lənd.

Lóránt reminds me so much of Loren, Laurence, and Laurent, I want to pronounce it in a similar way--sort of like lo-RAWN, with the ending said through the nose, all nasally. Granted, what I know about Hungarian wouldn't fill a bucket.
I prefer Roland, and I pronounce it ROH-lund. It's the only way I've ever heard it in English.

ROW-lund.
Lóránt is cool! Pretty sexy, actually.

Lorant is okay, but to my eye it looks more like a form of Laurent than Roland, even though it's - yeah, a form of Roland...
I really like Roland. I don't have the rat association, and the only Rolands I can think of are fantasy novel characters.
I pronounce it RO-land. Anything else sounds odd in English, in my opinion.
