[Facts] Penthesilea
Penthesilea was an Amazon queen. I'd like to know what her name means (suppose it's Greek).

From Greek words "PENTHOS" (mourning, grief) + "EILO" (grip, squeeze, wring, grab, grasp), the name PENTHESILEA literally means "mournful grip".
“ If you live by nature, you will never be poor; if you live by what men think, you will never be rich. Nature demands little, opinion a great deal.”

Na 'sai kala!
...such a name makes sense, metaphorically speaking, for a Amazon queen who "meant business" in the battlefield.
A more diachronic pseudo-etymology of Penthesilea could be: "penthera" (mother-in-law) and "eilo" (grip), i.e., "caught in the clutches of one's mother-in-law" :P
