I adore both names, but obviously I went with Jasper!

Jethro! It has so much more character!

Well, I have to choose Jasper. I've loved Jasper a long, long time; it's a family name for me and on top of that, and it's a rather intriguing stone connected to memories of rock-hounding with my grandpa. I like Jethro and I'm rooting for him but he can't beat out Jasper with me, especially not with that well-known bumbling, empty-headed association in his back pocket.I imagine I've probably just nudged you further toward Jethro. :)

I like both. Mostly Jasper.
Jasper is more elegant and mysterious, while Jethro is more strong.

Normally I would gladly choose the more off the wall option (Jethro), but I don't think I can really picture a baby Jethro. Or a little boy. I guess I'd get used to it. But I love Jasper and have for 20 years, so that's my vote.

Choose Jasper. It has more dignity than Jethro.

They sound like a couple of rednecks out shooting some possums, except Jasper has gotten above himself because he found out some hipsters like his name.

This description amuses me! Although the names Jasper and Jethro make me think of the exact opposite of rednecks.

Jasper. It's much nicer. Even though Leroy Jethro Gibbs (NCIS) used to be a favorite character of mine when I still watched that sh*t.

I prefer Jasper. It's really handsome and masculine. Jethro sounds like it's trying a bit too hard. I see it as more of a stage name than a given name.
