[Opinions] Mette and its pronounciation?

I love this name to bits but I'm not sure how an Australian like me would pronounce it? Is it Meh-TUH or Meh-TAY or something else? Please let me know your opinions and pronounciation of Mette, it's a great name!

I'm Danish, so I know how to.It's pronounced as MET-téh! (Two syllables btw.)The 'met' part pronounced as the English word 'met'.(I've added it to comments.){Edit: The last part of the post.}
