Help[Opinions] oh-da-lees

I met an Odalis once while in England - she is from Sevilla. She didn't pronounce it 'oh dallas' though, it was 'oh-da-lees' which I thought was really pretty.
'oh-dallas' sounds wrong to my ears and certainly not as pretty as 'oh-da-lees'.
