[Facts] Re: name question

"Lakeisha" (and its variations of "Lakesha", "Lakeshia", "Lakiesha", "Lakisha", "Laquisha", etc.) is a newly-invented American name, popular in the African-American community.
The prefix "La- " is found in many of these new names -- with the accent on the syllable which follows. The first letter of the following syllable may or may not be capitalized. (e.g. "LaDonna", "Ladonna")
"Keisha " happens to be an African name meaning "favorite". So "Lakeisha" conceivably means: "The Favorite".
