[Opinions] Rozenn
Rozenn for a girl
this name just dawned on me last night an it was love at first thought (ok, I had no idea it was an actual name and was about to spell it Rosen.) How would you think to pronounce it upon seeing it? Your opinions on the name in general? Would you keep this spelling or would you just spell it Rosen. Lastly, can anyone verify the user submitted info for the Rosen spelling? http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/rosen

I really like it, it used to be one of my favourites. I like both spellings, but I think on first seeing it I would pronounse Rosen ROSE-un, rather than rose-EN, which is how I prefer it pronounced.
I agree with Bear and Lavinia, it looks too made up to really appeal to me as a baby name. But, I don't think I'd feel negative and judgmental about it if I met someone named it. It's neat, even if it were made up. The problems I have are that the double N makes me want to pronounce it ro-ZEN, and that it could also be pronounced rozzin/rozzEN. I don't like Rosen at all because it is a surname and also reminds me of all the bazillion surnames that start with Rosen-.
Rozenn is better than any of the other ways you could spell a name that sounded like Rosen.

I would say it like "Rosen" too. I think it's a cool name. I like how it makes me think of a frozen flower, the last stubborn bloom in a winter garden, its petals turned crystalline.
Rozenn looks more badass, whereas Rosen is softer and more romantic and makes me think of quaint medieval spellings of words. Rosen makes me think of illuminated manuscripts and secret courtyard greenery. Rozenn is sharp and future-forward. I think I myself might chose the spelling Rosen, or Rosenne maybe. The Rozenn spelling is too cool for me.

I think it's a beautiful name. I would spell it Rosen, which means "the rose" in Danish:)
I thought it would be pronounced roz-EN, but Rosen makes sense too. I think Rosen looks nicer - Zs often look trendy and out of place to me.
I don't really like it. Rose is nicer.

Sorry, it looks like a kr8if spelling of the surname, Rosen.

If I met a Rozenn, I think I would have assumed it was made-up. Even now, knowing it's a Breton name, I think if I met a Rozenn I would assume her parents had made it up unless I knew she had some sort of connection to France or Brittany.
I'm not sure of the legitimacy of Rosen. However, I much prefer the look of Rosen. I've liked it in a guilty pleasure way for a while now.
