I'd assume Jo+Hannah otherwise why not spell it Joanna? I used to work with someone whose full name was Johanna and I once asked her how it was pronounced (she was always known as Jo) and she said Jo-Hannah.
I quite like Joanna. Growing up I knew several and found it rather boring (was popular for girls my age along with Joanne which I dislike) but I can see the appeal in it now. Johanna and Johannah is too awkward for me. I don't like Joana.
