yo-HAH-nah. I'm like Phoebe - it is more of a foreign name to me.
Would expect jo-HAH-nah if she were born to American parents.
I don't like the jo-Hannah pronunciation, and I can't say for sure I have ever heard of it.
yo-HAH-na is pretty, jo-HAH-na is nice, Johanna prn Joe Hannah is not so nice IMO but ok.
Johanna pronounced Joanna is weird to me. A little annoying! Never seen it though.
I've only met Joannas. I really like the name Joanna. Jo-Anna. Joana looks sort of like JO-na, but also like jo-AH-na which is ok. But Joana prn Joanna seems like it strains.
