Would appreciate any information about the first name Daem. I have a number of occurences around 1400-1500 in the Rheinland e.g. Daem von Siegenhoven gen. Anstel. It seems to have become obscure after that.

According to Knaurs Vornamen Buch by Margit Eberhard-Wabnitz and Horst Leisering, Daem was an pet form of Adam in the Upper Rhine area.
