[Opinions] Prose
WDYT of this as a name? Would you assume it was a male or a female? I'm liking it for a female at the moment with Rosie and Posy as possible NNs

I think...oh, man, what do I think?I think it makes my eyes roll. It's so stuffy and charmless. I hate it.

I never thought I'd find a name close to and worse than Primrose! Thank you; you have enriched my life.

I think it would work for either gender. I think of a someone with a writing occupation with this word name. Prose brings to mind as the name of a scholar, writer, or journalist. If used for a girl, Posy would be a cute nickname for Prose.

I can't see it on either. Dictionary definition: 'matter-of-fact, commonplace, or dull'. Poesy is totally nms, but it has a much better meaning.

Obviously I know what "prose" is, but in Swedish we say "prosit!" (Latin: To your health!) instead of "bless you" when someone sneezes, and I think you say it instead of "cheers" in German-speaking countries. That's all I can think of!

I think it's unisex. I like the sound and look of it, but the fact that it's a word holds me back a bit.
Nns are very nice though :)

Okay, I kind of like it in the middle name spot. I'm not feeling the NN forms though.
I could see it as either gender too.
As a writer, this one just tickles me to pieces.
Can't believe I like it so much all at once.
