[Opinions] Arthur
Arthur has really grown on me. What do you think? Is it too old fashioned? Do you prefer Arthur or Edward 'Ned'?

I like Arthur as it has alot of history. I prefer Arthur to Edward but I don't like any nicknames for Arthur. Ned is fine for Edward.

Arthur is nice and Art makes a nice nn. The only thing I find unappealing about it is the nn Artie. Just ... no. Between Arthur and Edward, I'd easy choose Arthur.

I love Arthur. It is a family name for me (my great great Grandad, who won famous medals in ww1) and it's really grown on me lately. My top combo for a boy is George Arthur and I also love Arthur George. I definitely prefer it to Edward, although they'd make a handsome pair of brothers!

Love Arthur, but I still prefer Edward / Ned. Both are so historic / legendary, i.e., costume drama heaven. :-DMy late FIL was an Arthur. (RIP.)

I like both Arthur and Edward. I named one of my baby bunnies last year Arthur, but I called him Bruno because he was brown.
I don't like any nicknames for Arthur though, and I prefer Eddie as a nn for Edward.

Arthur is OK, but not great.I like Edward quite a bit better, but prefer Ed or Eddie to Ned.

Love Arthur, like the nn Artie. It grows with a child and sounds regal and mundane at the same time. I love Edward, too, but the nickname Ned is just awful. Eddie is better.

Arthur is okay. Not bad, not great...middle-of-the-road. Those names are really boring me these days. :PI prefer Edward/Ned.

I only like Arthur as a middle name.

Arthur is hovering in 3rd position on my list. I really like and don't think it is "too" old fashioned - a little nerdy - but it has a lot of charm.
I prefer Arthur over Edward "Ned". I like Edward alright but prefer Edmund, and dislike the nickname "Ned" a lot; I just think it sounds silly.
