[Opinions] Re: Ursula

Ursula is one of my favorites. It reminds me of a Celtic warrior queen (though I know it's not a Celtic name and I honestly don't know where this connotation came from). I think it's the meaning (little bear) that makes me think of a strong but feminine woman. It has a beautiful, old-world feel to it that I love. I've never associated it with vomiting at all.
I would consider it for a middle name but not for a first name. There's the Little Mermaid reference, the George of the Jungle character and there's also an Ursula in a raunchy, somewhat obscure movie called Supertroopers. Unfortunately many people I know would quote one particular line from that movie whenever they heard the name Ursula... and it's not the nicest thing to say.
