It's a city in the very north of Scotland, I've never heard it used as a person's name and I don't think it would make a good name.

I also immediately thought of the granite city. And next, of dogs - specifically Scottie dogs, or Aberdeen terriers. Not good as a name for people.

Names-wise, I'd say, definitely not human.

Aberdeen is the name of a mall where I reside. It also reminds me of a burden when I think about it. That said, I do not find it suitable for a child.
