I find myself liking it. It's so delicious and decadent. And it looks beautiful on paper. And it lacks the boring -elle or -ette of the French names commonly chosen by English speaking parents. Also, the end syllable of Marguerite isn't so difficult for English speakers to emphasise (unlike, for example, the last syllable of Adrienne).
