Yup, I know real-life sisters named Pepper Day and Lumen Ever. What do you think?

Ack. Was Lumen a misspelling of Lemon or something? Because I'd like to pretend that those parents didn't actually name their daughter after the cavernous spaces inside the body. Next there'll be little Intestines or Arteries or Fallopians running around...

Pepper is cute on a dog, but ridiculous on a person even as a nickname. Lumen? Isn't that a body organ of some kind?

I can't take Pepper seriously as a given name. Nickname, okay, but I can't imagine actually writing Pepper on the birth certificate. It sounds so childish and dorky.
Lumen is...well, I've never heard Lumen before. I guess it works better as a name, but it's kind of odd, and not in the way I like. I'm not a fan of Ever (cheesy), but Day kind of works with Pepper. Hrm.
