I really like November for a girl. It's quite cute.

I don't like names with NO in them very much.As month names ending in -ber go, it's the best one just because it's the simplest and namiest sounding, and because at least November is colorful. But I'm not a fan of any month names besides April and June, and I think all the other ones besides May come off kind of superficial and imagey, because they're unusual and so they evoke weather too strongly.

I like it, but not as much as December. It doesn't give me any impression.

It's cool. It makes me think of a chilly New England village. With all the witchcraft and little white churches and repressed sexuality you could ever hope for!Might be a bit tricky to pull off. How would you shorten it? Nova? Ember?November Abigail
November Martha
November Claudia
November Magdalene
November Sarah
November Bethel

I think it's lovely. November nn Emmy is on my list. I think of fall colours and the first snow, and a couple of very special people in my life were born in November, so I think of them too. November Lilac is my GP combo, but that's too wordy for actual use. I'd pick something short, sweet and strong sounding, and stay well away from word names.November Carys
November Claire
November Maeve
November Faye
November Lucy
November Sylvie
November Zoe
November Freya
November Thea
November Ava
November Brenna
November Kaia
November Saskia
November Ottilie
November Odette

I think it sounds really pretty. I think of first snow, frosty windows, and starry nights.

I like it. I like the nn Nova. I don't think you'll get much support on these boards. Most of these people are classicists.

I greatly dislike names that start with NO. Definitely not the best month to choose.

Bad. For a boy or a girl. It's hipster and lame and self-conscious, and calls to mind cold gray skies and damp wind.

Some of us like cold gray skies and damp wind, and that's why we like the month of November.I talked to a person a couple of days ago, someone born and bred in Texas of all places, who told me that she hates heat and sun together and loves cold and rain. Before that, I'd been feeling so alone.

It just seems contrived. Also, I see it shortened to Ember, which I don't like. Then, when Ember seems too long its shortened to Em. Or maybe people will go a different route and shorten it to Nov, which is worse imo. I just think of falling leaves and Thanksgiving. For combos I would go with:November Rose (although too wordy, for some reason my mind likes it)
November Amy
November Harriet
November Prue
November Jemima
November Moriah
November Pomona
November Ramona
November Rosamund
November Tamsin
November Moriah
November Adeline
November Josephine
November Matilda
November Louisa
November Heloise
November Imogen

Bad name. I know people are often named May and June, and April and August, but November doesn't feel right as a name. If you really want to use it I'd place it in the middle name position.
