Why isn't the name Spock in the database?
Yes, I know it's uncommon, if not almost nonexistent, but I have met someone named Spock. It was actually their middle name. Not suggesting anyone actually name their kid Spock, but it IS a name after all...

I think I can point out that just because someone uses something as a name doesn't make it a name. Spock I think has a bit more naming history than say, Apple, but was made up for Star Trek as far as a know. We do have other "sci-fi" names on here, so if you want to you can submit it and it may make it in the database.

Not everything can be in the database. It'd be so difficult to do the research and find reliable information and popularity stats on every name. You can submit the name though, and maybe one day it will make it's way into the database.
Spock would make a pretty fun nickname, I think!
