Pardon the ignorance, but why? I hadn't ever heard of Stephen Moffat before. Is there some kind of negative association with him?

Stephen Moffat is the writer for the popular BBC TV shows Doctor Who and Sherlock. He often kills off favourite characters. This is the main reason why fans don't like him. If you've never seen Doctor Who or Sherlock, you probably haven't heard of him.

That's true. I saw the post and that's what I thought of. I'm not rage-y, though. Just like, "hey, Moffat!"
