I like Leila, and also the spelling Layla. It's got something intriguing about it, even though it's not one of my favorites.

My thoughts would be that someone was Leli and she was Leli-er. Of course, I don't do Rs much.

I vastly prefer Leila. Or Cloelia. Or even Cordelia.

I much prefer Leila and I think people will accidentally call her Leila too.

Huh. I first misread it as Leila. Twice, actually. Which would probably happen a lot. LAY-lia? or LEL-ya?
