[Opinions] Thoughts on Taj
So as the subject line states, I'm looking for thoughts and opinions on the name Taj, for a boy. It means "crown" in Arabic which appeals to me, as DH has a middle eastern background and can speak Arabic fluently. Would Jasper and Taj be cute for brothers? I actually quite like the sound of the two names together. Thanks in advance for your opinions, whether they be good or bad! ;)

I like Taj. It's handsome and I like how concise it is. It's nice that it's an uncommon name, but not a difficult one. Jasper and Taj sound unusual but not bad together. It's cool how it connects into your husband's background as well.
One of my favorite students is named Taj. He is so sweet, polite and lovely, so that makes me feel like the name is even better!
Taj and Jasper don't really fit that well in my opinion. Taj is a bit more modern and funky, Jasper is old fashioned but cool grandpa.

I don't like it sorry. It feels a bit bogan to me actually.
Jasper feels way too classy to be paired with a name like Taj - I'd expect a Taj to have siblings named Breeannah and Jaxson.

Haha, I was wondering if someone was going to say it was bogan!!
I think it's pretty good. Jasper and Taj do sound nice together.
I ADORE it! If I had any sort of middle eastern background at all it'd be high on my list. I think Jasper and Taj make great brothers
On it's own, I wouldn't say that Taj is a sound I fully enjoy as something to call a person though the Taj Mahal, which inevitably comes to mind, is a beautiful association. However, I do think it's a great way to honor your husband's heritage without tripping up English-speakers (if that's a concern at all) and there is something rather jaunty about the way both Jasper and Taj come off the tongue so, in that respect, I do think they suit as sibs.
I love this name! I've known a little boy named Taj since he was born, he's now about 6, and I've always really liked it. I think Jasper and Taj sound great together =)
