Help[Opinions] Abra
I started reading "Doctor Sleep" by Stephen King, and there is a little girl named Abra in the book. I think I'm slowly starting to like the name, but what do you think of it? Any combo ideas? What type of personality do you attach to the name?

Abra la puerta. Open the door. It's the imperative and first and third person singular present subjunctive of abrir, to open. I don't see it as a name.

I love it. It has a very "cool" vibe to it but at the same time it has a "sweet" vibe.

Well, I have never heard it spoken so I don't know how to pronounce it. Aybra is kind of attractive but I can't really say I like it. A-bra, flat short a, just sounds like abracadabra. And the spelling is just "a bra" to me.

Huh. It's the pokemon that always teleports away before you can catch it because its only move is "teleport." Can't really see it otherwise.

I like Abra in theory, but it reminds me too much of "a bra" or "abra cadabra" to actually use.
I'd picture someone who's fairly serious, intellectual, and probably upper class. Not sure why.

I'm not a fan. It makes me think of "a bra" and Abraham. I prefer Aubra, if you must.
It seems like a name for a frumpy teenager or a really cute little girl with wispy pigtails and
name-nerdy parents, IMHO. But, you know. Whatever floats your boat.
