[Opinions] Natalie
Is this name too dated to the 1970s and 80s?
(ex. American actresses Natalie Gregory (b. 1975) and Natalie Portman (b. 1981))

I don't think it's too dated. I consider it to be modern and quite classic, actually. That being said, I like it but prefer the spelling Nathalie, and overall, prefer Natalia.

The Natalies that I know are younger, more in the nineties. I think it's a beautiful name and fairly classic. While it was often then, it has a quality that doesn't hold it in one era.

I don't think Natalie is dated. I know Natalies from multiple generations - one who would be in her 80s, and another who is in her late 40s. I actually don't know any younger than that, but I think it's a beautiful name and would fit on child too.

I don't think so. I consider it a modern classic. I love the name Natalie and it would definitely be a contender for my own child.

Natalie's a beautiful name. It's old, yes, but Natalie is one of those names that never get dated - like Amelia, John, and Jack.Natalie is also one of those names you can give it only a small twist and change it to a whole new name. (ie.: Natalia)

No I don't think it's dated. The only Natalie I know is in her early 20s, so born 1992/3. Also my fiancé was going to be named Natalie is he was a girl, and he was born in 1990.I quite like it, but I dislike the nickname Nat.
