[Opinions] Livina
This name has been floating around in my head for some time. I looked it up and was surprised it's not in the database here. According to some other sites it has Germanic orginins and means 'beloved friend'. I'm quite appealed by this name. I used to be very fond of Lavinia but nowadays it seems a bit snobbish to me and Livina is a good alternative to me. Liv could be a nice nickname.So. What are you opinions on Livina? Any good middle names on your mind?

It's familiar as a Japanese car, but I've never seen it used on a human. As a suitable mn then, how about Lexus?

Against my better judgement, I like it. I like the way it looks, too.

I prefer Lavinia to be honest as someone might hear Live in ah!

I think it's a bit confusing, I actually didn't notice for a few minutes that it wasn't Livinia, which I have seen before and prefer to Lavinia. I love the nickname Liv. There is also Livna which is a Hebrew name.

I prefer Lavinia, but I do like the nn Liv. Livina sounds like "living a..." to me.

I enjoy both Lavinia and Liv. I would guess Livina possibly to be an embelishment of Liv, rather than thinking it related to Lavinia. Haven't ever seen it before. Don't know what style you are after...Livina Constance
Livina Gladys
Livina Pearl
Livina Sophie
Livina Winter

I think Livina is quite pretty. I really like Liv and it does capture the appeal of Lavinia without being quite so much. That said, I think in practice it would disappear amongst all the Olivias if you were to use the nickname Liv.Livina Celeste
Livina Ambrosine
Livina Manon
Livina Gisele

I'm not a fan... I used to be fond of Lavinia too, I still like it, but I'd never actually use it. Lavina doens't have the same qualities for me, it sounds a bit strange and old fashioned.

I can't say I like it. I've only just started warming up to Olivia and all other -liv- names still sound greasy to me. I don't like Livina because of that plus it makes me want to say Lavinia. Livina sounds like it's trying too hard not to be Lavinia.

I have a friend who named her daughter Livina and I think it's lovely. I also really like Linniva with the nn Liv. I don't think Linniva is in this database but it's an Old English name. For middle names, I like:Livina Caroline
Livina Meredith
Livina Beatrice
Livina Abigail
Livina Claudia
