It's one of the more unfortunate flower names. It really sounds to me like a fairy-tale witch or a disease of some lobe of the brain.

Pretty cool. I know it's a flower, but it really makes me think of brains. It's like a Tim Burton, Victorian mad-scientist kinda name (which is a good thing, in my books).

I think Lobelia was the best hobbit EVAH.
