My great Grandad was called Reginald. I always thought it sounded a bit stuffy and pompous. He went by Reg which I don't like because it makes me think of cars. I do think Reggie is quite cute, though, and would fit in with the trend of nicknames for old fashioned names, e.g., Freddie, Archie, Alfie
