My friend spells his name Daren. I really like this spelling, more so than Darren.

Well, no because I wouldn't pro. Daeron as Darren - It'd be "day-ron" And while Daeron looks nice on paper and in a book, I don't think it'd work for a real person : Although for some reason, I can picture it on someone in Miami... we have a lot of odd names down here! lol
