I mentioned the name Finette in one of my previous posts. I think I like that better.

Too close to finite.

Don't like it, and don't really know why.

Phinette is pretty cool indeed.
I think Finnette brings it down a few notches. It kind of looks like a silly joking way to make Finn feminine.

It doesn't sound so bad. Maybe there's a Phineas in her ancestry somewhere?
I met an old Irish lady called Finetta once.

With that spelling it looks like it's short for something like Josephinette or Seraphinette. Finette would look the best IMO.

Phinette... it is odd for sure but I kinda like the sound. I agree with you that Finnette looks better though. I wonder if it's maybe a feminized and diminutive Phineas? Or just a feminized Finn with a 'ph' instead. Or maybe an anglicized version of a name like Fiammetta? I googled it out of curiosity and was surprised I got a few results! Seems to be another one of those odd Victorian names lol
