It's one of those names that looks prettier than it sounds - here in the UK, 'is otter'. Handy if you actually are an otter, I suppose.

I love Isotta so much! Isotta and Iseult are my preferred variants of Isolde.

I much prefer Isolde. Isotta looks as if a Risotto and the Ricotta did a merger and moulted the R.

Isotta looks pretty, but I keep hearing "sod" in the middle. Not sure I really could like it.

I've liked Isotta for a while now. I don't know that I would actually end up using it because there are other names I like more but I do think its pretty. I have also heard Isola which I guess means Island in Italian and I really like that, too but I hate to use names that are a word in another language. I always imagine them travelling to that country and having everyone give them the side eye wondering why they are called Island.

I like most forms of Isolde tbh including Isotta. It's one of my favorite mythology names and I think it has a silvery magical old-world feeling to it that's very pretty and charming.My faves, in order starting with my most favorite:Eseld - on my top 25 girls' names list
