Although I love the name, I agree with your assessment that it's overly dramatic and theatrical. I knew that it was a name that I loved but could never see myself actually using. Now that you've said it's overly dramatic and theatrical, I realize that's why I would never use it. I would find having a daughter with the name slightly embarrassing. Because it's overly dramatic and theatrical, although I wasn't thinking those words until I saw what you'd said.
Even though I wouldn't use it, I still love it, and I'm glad that other people are using it. I also find it interesting that while it was obviously introduced via GWTW, it took approximately sixty years for it to start being used. Then again, my name was also introduced via a novel, and it took approximately thirty years after the novel was published for my name to start being used in any appreciable numbers. I wonder why the lag?
