I love Dominic. It's handsome, suitable for a kid as well as a grown up. Did you really mean Domnic, or was that a typo? I don't like that spelling either way. Dominic is the best one, followed by Dominik.
I don't really like Dom as a nickname though, or Nic. I would just call him Dominic, or perhaps Nico.
