I don't like it, though it's not the worst kre8tyv name out there.

I think it's kinda cool. It works as honoring if I were to use, since my Grandpa on my dad's side in named Benjamin and my grandma on the other side is Lynn.

Sure, it's an invention, but so are all names one time or another. So if names like Nevaeh works, why wouldn't Benjalynn? I still prefer Benjamine though, but I wouldn't really rise an eyebrow if I saw a Benjalynn mentioned in a Birth Announcement.

Very interesting. I instantly thought of a female Benjamin but maybe it could be honoring a Benji and they added Lynn.

I googled the name out of curiosity and it seems like there was one family (at least) which used this name. One of the women who bore the name Benjalynn had three brothers, Benjamin, Solomona and Jesse and a sister Solomina. The family was of Hawaiian descent. Interesting to me to have siblings named Benjalynn & Benjamin and Solomona & Solomina!

I'm guessing the other replies are all haters. :) Hm. I do like the idea of Benja or Benji or Benni on a girl. And I really hate Benjamine. I can't help but think that besides Benjalynn being a lame-o sounding mash-up, it would also get misheard at Benjamin all the time. I want to think of something more positive to say about it, but I'm not being very successful.
