[Opinions] Jacinth
So, I'm kind of warming to this name. WDYT? It's for a girl, obviously.

I prefer Jacinta
How are you planning on pronouncing it? JAY-sinth sounds too much like Jason for my tastes. I prefer JAS-inth though it's harsher. Regardless I have trouble seeing Jacinth as a female name. One of the young men killed by Ray Lewis or his bodyguards was named Jacinth, so I've always thought of it as being masculine.
Is the stress really on the first syllable? Huh. I've aways pronounced it "juh-SINTH." ...How do I keep missing these things? :x
I prefer Jacinta.
Honestly, I love it. I was just going through some old files of mine and came across a forgotten novel idea, featuring a character named Jacinth "Cindy." I'm not sure if I'll ever return to the story, but seeing it really reignited my love for Jacinth. It's strong and solid, feminine without the fluff, and just has a really pleasant sound to me. Plus, I think it's extremely versatile; I can see it on any kind of person, any personality type. It's a gem of a name.
Ugly, harsh, unflattering. I honestly wouldnt know what gender it belonged to if you didntgive that answer
Nah, I'd call her Jacey. I went to school with a Jacey, but he was a guy. I think it's fine for a girl, though.
I like it, I'm generally fond of "J" names.
It's used now and then where I live.Oddly, really, as the "th" isn't pronounced in French, or, if it is, it's said so slightly that I'm not hearing it.

It's not at all attractive in looks, and it's awful in sound.
