[Opinions] Medora

I used to just adore this name with Medori as a nn.
No combo, but a piece of dialogue.
"Me Dora - you Tarzan?"
"Me Dora - you Tarzan?"
Isn't it pronounced Med- and not Meed-?
If it's a contraction of Metrodora or an elaboration of Medea (two possible derivations that have been offered), it would not be Mee-dora. I think Medora would be a weird pronunciation, like pronouncing Melanie "Mee-lanie" or Melissa "Mee-lissa."

It reminds me of a liqueur, but I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of midori.
It's alright. Pretty enough, easy to pronounce, and I tend to like "dora" as a name element.

Glad to find another Melora lover.
Glad to find another Melora lover.
It sounds like a fictional wicked witch's name. Miss Gulch could as easily have been Medora as Elmira.
Medora Augustine is cool.
It's okay sounding but it reminds both of Majora and Midna, who are both Legend of Zelda characters!
