[Facts] Diccon
I'm reading 'the Seventh Son' by Reay Tannahill. In it Edwad IV refers to his younger brother Richard as 'Diccon'

It was an accepted and widely-used nickname at the time; Dick has acquired a sexual meaning which puts some people off, though a family member used to know a Dickon (not a nickname) who'd be in his 70s now.

Dickon was also a character in The Secret Garden. Another variant is Dicun. They're medieval diminutives of Richard.
