Tavi? That's cute. Sounds a bit nicknamey, but I like it.

How do they pronounce it? A as in car, mat, or hay? (my instinct is the first way) It's not my favorite, but congratulations to them on their new little girl!

I'm not sure how they say it as I've only see it written. I'm not sure if its from Octavia or some other source, so it's hard to guess how it's pronounced.

Octavia Rosamund "Tavi" would've been amazing! Tavi Rosamund is cool though. Props to anyone who uses Rosamund.

I agree with this. Octavia Rosamund would have been fantastic. Tavi is nice though, and kinda refreshingly simple. I like it. It's not weird or kre8tive. I want to say I met a Tavi once, but it was a guy. It may have been Taavi or a nickname for Tavish, David, or Stavros or something though.

I knew a male Tavi, short for Gustav :)
