This name has been growing on me for a while.What do you think of it? Is it too old-fashioned?

I wouldn't recommend it if you live in an English-speaking country. The first four letters...
Also, I think of arson and arsenic.

I don't think it's old-fashioned. I like it in theory, but it does sound almost exactly like the word 'arson'.

It doesn't strike me as old-fashioned at all, but it's way too close to arson and arsenic.

It makes me think of Arsène Wenger, the football manager. It's not a bad name, but like RoxStar said it sounds like 'arson' in English. I'm sure it's fine in France though.

It makes me think of the arsenic based rat poison we put in my backyard growing up. Other than that less than excellent association, it's actually kind of pretty.
