Pardon my dense-ness, but what does the Roll part rhyme with? (I'm so bad at those phonetic pronunciations.)
When I saw Roland, "Rol" sounds like roll and troll.
That would have been my inclination with Rollan as well - to basically say "rollin'" like "rolling" without the g. So if that's not what you are going for, I'd say that yes, it would be mispronounced often.
Is the "Roll" supposed to rhyme with tall and crawl?

Yes, the Roll part would sound similar to doll, tall or crawl
Then I'd either be prepared to correct people (not a terrible thing, just depends on your personality) or maybe spell is Rawlin.
