[Opinions] Avra

Avra is sweet and simple and unique. I like it. Would you say AYV-ra or AVV-ra? I think I like AVV-ra better.
Ara is okay, but it does feel a little incomplete to me. It could easily be a nickname for something like Aria, Ariadne, Ariella, Ariana, Araceli, Araminta, or Arcadia if you're not a fan of Arabella.

Personally, I would say AVV-ra.
All the Avras I know (are Greek/Greek-American) say it AH-vrah.
I love it! It's weird its usage is mentioned as a "?" cause I'm pretty sure it's a Greek name. All the Avras I know are Greek, including my "aunt" (she was one of my mom's former professors who was just very close to our family). Anyway, it's very pretty and unusual but doesn't feel too out there.
I like Ara too, a lot more than I like Arabella.

Avra is beautiful. It's not a name I was familiar with, but it's a really lovely feminization.
I always like v-r transitions. Ara is a bit lacking imo. It feels like a nickname, it needs a bit more. AH-ra would be substantial enough, but when you say stand alone instead of Arabella, I say it similar to the word air with an a on the end. Visually it just seems to short regardless of pronunciation.
