[Opinions] Re: Enzian
It does sound kind of cool for a boy. I definitely like Enzo better, but Enzian is kind of interesting. Three boys nappin', one mama namenerdin'

I like Enzo better too, but it's a nickname and I'm not a fan of Lorenzo at all. I was thinking maybe Enzian nn Enzo could work but Frollein Gladys explained there is such thing as enzianschnaps. And it's kind of put me off :p

I have the same problem about liking Enzo but not any of the full forms. Have you considered Anzo?

Anzo. Anzo.
I like it! I'd never heard it before but it's really neat. Thankyou!! :D

Fwiw this site has Enzo listed as it's own name that just happens to also coincide as a nn for Lorenzo. As Enzo could be related to Anzo, or HeinzEta: nevermind I see you've figured that out. I was surprised myself upon finding that out recently, at the same time I discovered Anzo

Wait a minute, you're okay with Leo but not Enzo as a full name?? ;o)How about these for a full name for Enzo:
Denzel
Ebenezer
Fiorenzo
Mackenzie
Tenzin
Tenzing
Terence
Vincent
Laurence
Clarence
Benson
Dennis
Emerens
Tennyson

Because Leo has been a full first name since the 5th century at least, and Enzo... Lol. Because up until just now (when I actually clicked "Enzo" in the blue) I thought it was only a nickname of Lorenzo. Someone told me that and I just believed them! But here it's like they're not really sure where it comes from and only recently it's been a nickname...So Enzo as a full name, suddenly no problem ^_^"
I just really don't like nicknames as full names, is all.I like Tenzin, Emerens and Mackenzie from this list, but Enzo as a nickname for them is kind of a stretch.

A stretch? Really? Unusual, perhaps...but not that much of a stretch.

I guess it's a matter of opinion. I tend to prefer nicknames where the link is more obvious. Like the kind of nicknames where you don't have to explain them. Like Benjamin is usually Ben or Benji, but if were a Benjamin nn Jamie you'd have to tell people. It's not automatic. Emerens wouldn't automatically be Enzo and neither would Mackenzie or Tenzin. You'd have to explain them all.
I'm really starting to like Emerens though :)
