[Opinions] Re: Enzian
I'm thinking schnapps.
Apart from being a very pretty mountain flower, "Enzianschnaps" is also a rather well-known Alpine specialty (made of... wait for it... Enzian). When you are offered some, people usually just drop the "-schnaps" part and ask something along the lines of "Fancy some Enzian?". Well, I've been to the Alps just a couple of weeks ago, so that's probably why...
I don't much care for the drink, but I like the flower and I like the word.

I was hoping someone who knew German or Austrian would reply :)
The schnaps thing could be a real problem!
It seemed more namey to me than Edelweiss too but the schnaps is a bit of a downside. Thankyou!

You are welcome.
I just want to point out that, with Enzian, the flower would definitely be at the forefront association-wise. However, it's not like the liquor is an obscure reference either. And I think it's always good to know about stuff like that before making a decision :)

Okay, I understand. Definitely I'd want to know all possible things like this so I could weigh them up and see how much of a problem they'd be.
Thank you very much ^_^
