Nerys makes me think of a very proper, very Christian, very Celtic/Welsh domineering mother... and I have no idea where I picked up that association. I think my mother worked/works with at least one Nerys.
I don't like the name much, but I can take or leave the mental image of a tough Welsh mum.I say Nerys to rhyme with Harris... or...erh... Herris? Emphasis on either syllable, probably the first, I'm not sure, but short vowels. Definitely not nair-ees.Combos:
