The stress for Raelynn is on the second syllable, not the first. It's ray LYN.

Yes. It still reminds me of railing.
Once several years ago I was hanging out in a botanical garden with my kids and they met some other kids. The girl introduced her sister, Raelynn, and when she said it I could tell she often gets misunderstood because she pronounced it very slowly and carefully and then repeated it. It's a pretty name on paper, I just think it's too odd and difficult spoken aloud.
