I like Edison. I really like it in a GP sibset with Darwin lol. It's one of the few -son surname names I actually like, and I love the geek chic feel it has (as you mentioned). And there's tge added bonus of it being familiar, and easy to say/spell, but not too popular. Looks like you're on to a winner.
