[Opinions] Callista
Which spelling do you prefer? Callista or Calista?
My sister who's pregnant plans on using it but she's concerned about whether or not it matches with big sis Rose. WDYT
What would be a or two good mns?
Big sis' full name is Rose Hannah Louise.

I like Callista (this spelling) a lot. I think Rose and Callista make an adorable sibset.

I think Callista is better, but I don't think it matches with Rose. I think something shorter and less frilly, maybe Callie, would fit better.I don't have any great mn suggestions, so...

I like it, prefer Callista, but either spelling is ok.I'm glad that the association with actress Callista Flockhart is fading already. It's a great name, but I hated that it made me think of her first. Now, not so much. Yay!I think it's great with Rose.

Calista just doesn't look finished to me. I love this name - Callista. Its so pretty to me. I'm deffinately going to use it someday. I don't think it goes well with Rose. Rose is a pretty name too, it just doesn't seem to fit with the fun-ness (i know thats not a word but I couldn't think of a better one for what I'm trying to say lol! :P) and elegance of Callista. But if your sister really likes the name then she should do what she wants; Callista and Rose isn't that bad together at all. She could also spell it Kalysta.middle names - do you what 2 mn's for this babe too?

I prefer Callista - mostly b/c of the way it looks, but also b/c it is closer to the original name. I think that it is fine with Rose.I would help with mns, but I don't think I could do better than what has already been suggested."We can even learn from our enemies." -Ovid

I prefer Callista by far. It doesn't go badly with Rose, it's just that Rose is very dull in comparison. Callista is a beautiful name._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

Callista with two l's is closer to the original Greek name, Kallisto, so I prefer that spelling. Also, if shortened to Callie, it just makes more sense to me. Either is pretty, though. I think it complements Rose just fine.MNS:Callista Charlotte

This baby won't have two mns for sure, it's just a possibility. Rose was just supposed to have one mn and then her mother's bestfriend named Louise died in a car accident and she and her dh decided to give her Louise as a second mn to honor her.
