[Opinions] Concordia
I have trouble seeing this as a name, because it's the name of a street and hospital (the one I was born at, actually) in my neighborhood. I'm wondering what other people, who don't have such associations, think of it as a name. Is it quirky enough to be useable? Let the opinions flow.

I really like this name, especially the meaning! I think it's quirky enough to be usable!

To me it's a university, in Montreal. It could be a good name though.
Concord? That's a plane.

I went to school with a Concordia, so I don't have as hard a time viewing it as a name. Rather than a plane, or a grape, or a city. However, I think it's really ugly, I don't find the CONC or the CORD sounds appealing in the least and they are right next to each other.

I think of the Costa Concordia, the cruise ship that sank a few years ago. The name itself sounds like the parents were trying too hard to come up with a "unique" name for their daughter. I don't think it's useable.

It sounds like an airplane. I get that it's a name, for a human even; it just doesn't feel like one.

Personally, I don't see it as a useable name because I think of Concord, the North Carolina town; concord the grape, etc. Very glad it's not my name.

It was used here a few times, not at all recently. It's very regal-sounding. I think of someone sleek and streamlined with a big nose - ah no wait, that's Concorde. :p
It does shorten neatly to Connie. But I wouldn't fancy it myself.
