[Opinions] Dorothy
What are your thoughts on the name Dorothy? Do you prefer Dorothy or Dorothea? What are some first and middle names you think sound good with it? :)
.・゜゜・(/。\)・゜゜・.If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

I've never been a fan of Esther or Elspeth but they're so perfect with Dorothy, I love those combos! :)

I love Dorothy, with the nickname Dodie. I'm very fond of Dorothea, too, but it isn't one I'd consider using at the minute. As for middle names, today I think I like Dorothy Violet and Dorothy Pearl. Ooh, Dorothy Cecile!

ohh I love Dorothy Pearl & Dorothy Cecile! :)

I've never really liked it. Dorothea is better, but not by much.

It's dumpy and dowdy.

I do, too! That's why I love it but I'm not sure if I would otherwise :PI love so many of your combos! Especially Dorothy Claire, Hazel Dorothy and Primrose Dorothy, although I've never been a fan of Primrose before :)

I don't like either but if I had to pick, I'd choose Dorothea since Dorothy is more common and also used in the Wizard of Oz.

I prefer Dorothy because of the Wizard of Oz :3 It's my favorite movie along with Alice in Wonderland :)

I posted below yesterday about Dorothy Opal but didn't get much response. :( It popped into my head before I was falling asleep the other night and it's been on my mind ever since. Julia Dorothy, Dorothy Opal, Julia Dorothy Opal, etc.I prefer Dorothy, the y at the end feels more complete and I prefer the simplicity.

Dorothy Opal is nice, but I prefer Julia Dorothy Opal. :) It might depend on the last name, though.

Still torn between Dorothy Opal on its own or the addition of Julia! But thanks! :)

I like both Dorothy and Dorothea, but I would be more likely to use Dorothea. I like Dorothea Elisabeth and Dorothea Catherine.I prefer the inverse, Theodora, however.

I like Theodora better too!
