[Opinions] Re: Sandro or Sandros?
Would Sasha/ Shura work as nns? I don't know how much influence Russian has on them, but I know Russian names don't end in o, not even nns. But if there's little influence, stick with Sandro.

I think when I gave him that name, I was thinking of the Russian Grand Duke nicknamed Sandro (real name Aleksandr), but misremembered it. He was Tsar Nicholas II's brother-in-law and one of his advisors. Since he grew up in the Caucasus, and Sandro is a common Georgian nickname for Aleksander, that probably explains the nickname.
