[Opinions] Thoughts on These?
We chose to do 2 middle names because I've always been a fan of the child having their own name but that it is followed by names that link them to their families on both sides. My parents did it with us and my partner liked the idea. For example Jean is a derivative of my father's name and Pierre is her father's name, but Theodore is new for both sides.
Curious for your thoughts, opinions on our names and our tradition and what your favourite boy and girls names are!
Our top names are:
Boys
1. Theodore Jean-Pierre
2. Sebastien Henry Marshall
Girls
1. Vera Theresa Renee
2. Sylvie Tecla Leslie

I really like the idea behind the names! It's really nice.
I actaully like all of the names, except for Tecla. But I've never heard of it before so that may have something to do with it!

The naming tradition in your family is a cool one, as it honors relatives while not prescribing the child an identity.
Theodore Jean-Pierre has a really nice flow, I like it!
I like Sebastien Henry, but not Marshall. That name is a different genre, more rough-and-tumble than the others.
At first I didn't know what to think of Vera and Theresa together, but after saying it a couple times the name had a nice flow. Renee complements the pairing.
I have to admit, I'm not a fan of Tecla at all, and the "-la" ending kind of runs into the beginning of Leslie, so I'm tripping over the Ls. Sylvie is cute, though.
Some of my favorite names are:
Bennett
Dominic
Donovan
Dorian
Malcolm
Matthias
Nicholas
Richard (family name)
Ryland
Wesley
&
Constance
Cordelia
Donna
Josephine
Juliet
Lara
Morgana
Penelope
Serena
Vivien
Names common in my family are Clara, Francis / Frank, Marie / Mary, Patricia, Robert, Rose (both sides), and Timothy.

Boys: I'm not crazy about Marshall but the combos are nice. I'm a big fan of Theodore and Sebastien. I usually prefer Sebastian, but it seems that you have a French background so it's all good.
Girls: The names are totally NMS but not bad. Sylvie has a lightness, a delicateness to it that is very sweet.

Sebastien is very handsome and one of my favourite names. I do prefer Sebastian, but I understand you are honouring your heritage.
Both Very and Sylvie are beautiful names. I slightly prefer Sylvie, which is very sweet. :)

I like the double-side honouring idea. And Theodore Jean-Pierre is gorgeous!
Vera Theresa Renee is lovely but I'd love if it was Vera Therese Renee. So luscious and glam! Sylvie Tecla Leslie is sprightly and likeable too. So tough to pick a fave! Sylvie Therese Renee would also be splendid.

I like the reason behind the double middle name tradition. I'm not generally a fan of two middle names, but if there is a reason like and I think it's good. Especially if they hyphenate well like that.
(Had our third been a girl, she would have been Mattea Ruth-Anne. Ruth for my mom and Anne for my husband's.)
The one thing I would think about is how many children you plan/hope/think you might have. Is this a tradition you could carry on? Are there enough names that you like and would use? Would you want to give both fathers' names away at once? :)
Theodore Jean-Pierre is great. Also, Theodore Jean would be great too.
Sebastien Henry Marshall is nice enough. Do the middle names have any significane? I ike Sebastien Marshall better.
I prefer Theodore over Sebastien.
Vera Theresa Renee flows well. I don't really like Vera, but the combo works.
Sylvie Tecla Leslie doesn't flow nearly as well, but I like Sylvie way better than Vera. How about Sylvie Tecla Renee or Sylvie Theresa Renee?

Henry was my Great Grandfather's name. Marshall is her brother and grandmother's middle names. Theresa is her mother's name and Renee is my mother's middle name. Tecla is my Great Nonna's name and Leslie is her middle name and her Grandfather's name.
Her family is French and our kids would go to a french school which is why we would choose the french spelling. :)

I would prefer Theodore Jean Pierre without the hyphen, but I like the combination!
Sebastien Henry Marshall also flows well, but for that one I find the French spelling a bit of an obstacle, since I imagine you'd be more likely to use the English pronunciation. So I'd suggest either Sebastian Henry Marshall or Sebastien Henri Marshall!
I don't enjoy Vera at all, I'm afraid. Sylvie Theresa Renee would be lovely - might you consider it? I think Sylvie fits better there than with Leslie as the 2nd mn, because the rhyme is a bit Dr Seussish. Sylvie Leslie. Renee works better.
I gave my children three names each as well. All with family significance, and it's worked well; plus, they'll never meet anyone with the same name combinations.
